Opening of the personal exhibition of icons of Jadwiga Senko "The Light of my soul"

The exhibition of Jadwiga Senko "The Light of my Soul", which presents 36 works by the artist, opened in the Mostovsky State Museum "Forest and Man" and is dedicated to Mother's Day. The opening of the exhibition was attended by Deputy chairman of the district executive committee, leader of the district organization of the Belarusian Union of Women Marina Davydik, head of the culture sector of the district executive committee Anastasia Poluychik, rector of the Church of the Holy Prophet Ilya of Mosty, Father Vladimir Mozgov.

The purpose of Jadwiga Senko's creativity is to bring light and joy to a person, to give hope that kindness and beauty, mercy, faith in God will save the world. And the purpose of life is to build a temple in the soul.

The artist received the blessing of Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus Filaret to write copies of all images and paintings known in the Orthodox world on a Christian theme. Among her works there are Catholic icons. Over 35 years of creative activity, she painted about 2,000 icons, the first one at the age of 18, it was the "Heart of Mary" for the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
